Sound Insulation Testing The English Cogger Partnership is registered with the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) for sound insulation testing. Dr. Nigel Cogger and Christopher Heal are both registered with the ANC as persons qualified to perform sound insulation testing. It is a legal requirement that any newly built or converted residential dwelling sharing walls or floors, must conform to sound insulation standards set out in part E of the building regulations (2000). It is part of the requirement, that at least 10% of any construction type must be tested to insure that it meets the required standard of sound insulation. The English Cogger Partnership can carry out sound insulation testing and offer specialist advice on the suitability of construction types with respect to the sound insulation requirements.
