Seth Roberts joined The English Cogger Partnership in 2007 as an Assistant Consultant. He has a BEng (Hons) degree in Acoustical Engineering from the University of Southampton and is also an associate member of the Institute of Acoustics. Seth is training to become registered with the Association of Noise Consultants for sound insulation testing for requirements of the Building Regulations. He has started work on all aspects of the practice's projects, including environmental noise assessment for the support of planning applications; precompletion tesing and design stage building acoustics based projects. Prior to
joining The English Cogger Partnership, Seth has worked for BAE underwater
systems, on the Talisman unmanned underwater vehicle project. The work
consisted of a supervised, underwater acoustics research project that
contributed directly to the design of the vehicle. Seth's research project
in the final year of his degree used a pioneering technique for measuring
the acoustic intensity of an ultrasonic transducer (underwater) that had
not been used in any previous studies. email Seth
