Chris Heal joined The English Cogger Partnership in 2002 as an Assistant Consultant and is now a Consultant. He has an MEng (Hons) degree in Acoustical Engineering from the University of Southampton and is also a Member of the Institute of Acoustics. He is registered with the Association of Noise Consultants for sound insulation testing for requirements of the Building Regulations. He has worked on all aspects of the practice's projects, including the environmental assessment of major infrastructure schemes. Projects include: Kings Cross Central, Rockingham Motor Speedway, First Bus depot relocations, Rassau Power Station, Central Edinburgh Traffic Management scheme and Barking and Dagenham Schools. He has also seen many smaller projects through to completion. Prior to
joining The English Cogger Partnership, Chris has worked on the Renault
Sport, Clio V6 with the Noise and Vibration Harshness team at TWR Engineering
and with the design department at Golden River Traffic. He has contributed
to many interesting projects at the Institute of Sound and Vibration
Research, including the stereo dipole in the Virtual Acoustics Project
and was in a small team that developed the world's first Electronic
